The Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) Foundation is pleased to announce that the nine individuals from First American Equipment Finance who sat through the 8-hour CLFP exam have passed; they are:

  2. Andrew Eller, CLFP – Assistant Vice President, Finance
  3. Ashtyn Mohanlall, CLFP – Portfolio Officer
  4. Tom Nairn, CLFP – Assistant Vice President – Project Manager
  5. David Neighbour, CLFP – Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business Division
  6. Phil Palermo, CLFP – Vice President, Education Division
  7. Christopher Schmelz, CLFP – Assistant Vice President – Project Manager
  8. Déva Brooks, CLFP – Vice President, Bank Support Division

“I chose to pursue the CLFP designation because I strongly believe that building and refining professional skill sets are vital to becoming a better leasing professional,” said Mr. Nairn.  “The CLFP designation allows me to broaden my scope of knowledge regarding the lease and finance industry, and First American has always encouraged and supported our colleagues who look to gain more knowledge. I am very thankful to my company and colleagues for all of their support.”

The CLFP designation identifies an individual as a knowledgeable professional to employers, clients, customers, and peers in the equipment finance industry. There are currently 250 Certified Lease & Finance Professionals and Associates throughout the world.
